As the procurement procedure is being prepared for the creation of the conceptual oil and mining project, the project team is focused on developing the drilling and testing project for the Vukovar GT-1 exploration well. This phase is expected to be key in achieving optimal results.

Preparation of Environmental Impact Assessment Contract

Considering the importance of environmental preservation, contracting is underway for the preparation of the Environmental Impact Assessment for the "Vukovar GT-1 Geothermal Water Exploration Well (VuGT-1) with a workspace for drilling plant accommodation." This document will be crucial in ensuring project sustainability and minimizing potential environmental impacts.

All these steps demonstrate a commitment to the development of geothermal energy in Vukovar, and it is anticipated that this project will bring numerous benefits to the community, including economic, ecological, and energy-related advantages.

The project's total value is €259,470.62, of which non-refundable amount of funds is €217,330.02 (83.76%).
The project is led by the City of Vukovar, Croatia, with a project partner, EFLA Consulting Engineers from Iceland.
The project implementation period is from April 13, 2022, to April 12, 2024.
