The Environmental Impact Assessment for the exploratory well Vukovar GT-1 is designed based on the conceptual oil and mining project with the aim of confirming the acceptability of the applied drilling and testing technologies at the future location. Once accepted, this document becomes the basis for further steps in the project, including the development of the oil and mining project and obtaining the location permit. The contract for the preparation of the Environmental Impact Assessment was signed on February 26, 2024, with Zavodom za unapređenje sigurnosti d.d.

The Environmental Impact Assessment will thoroughly analyze the impacts of planned activities on the environment and present appropriate protective measures to minimize potential negative effects. The acceptability of applied technologies will be crucial in the assessment and approval process, providing assurance that planned activities comply with the highest safety and environmental conservation standards. After the successful verification of the assessment, the oil and mining project will be developed, and the location permit will be obtained, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and the implementation of the project at a high level of safety and responsibility.
