ODRŽANA ZAVRŠNA KONFERENCIJA EU PROJEKATA „ČISTA ENERGIJA ZA VUKOVAR“ I „SUNCE NAD VUKOVAROM“

U ponedjeljak, 22. travnja 2024. godine, održana je završna konferencija EU projekata „Čista energija za Vukovar“ i „Sunce nad Vukovarom“ na kojoj su predstavljene aktivnosti i rezultati. Nositelj oba projekta je Grad Vukovar.

Na projektu „Čista energija za Vukovar“ projektni partner je EFLA Consulting Engineers, dok je projektni partner na projektu „Sunce nad Vukovarom“ Energy Farm International Foundation.

Projekti „Čista energija za Vukovar“ i „Sunce nad Vukovarom“ financirani su od Islanda, Lihtenštajna i Norveške kroz Financijski mehanizam Europskog gospodarskog prostora (EGP) 2014.-2021. uz nacionalno sufinanciranje Republike Hrvatske u okviru Programa „Energija i klimatske promjene“.

Zamjenik gradonačelnika Filip Sušac istaknuo je kako su oba projekta značajna za grad Vukovar.
„Oba su projekta usmjerena na obnovljive izvore energije, što je izrazito važno. Projektom "Sunce nad Vukovarom" osigurano je 12 solarnih elektrana na javnim zgradama u gradskom vlasništvu, a koje će donijeti velike uštede. Govorimo o uštedama od 30-50 posto ukupne električne energije na lokacijama na kojima su solarne elektrane postavljene, što je od velikog značaja za naše ustanove. Osim toga, doprinosimo i razvoju korištenja obnovljivih izvora energije u Republici Hrvatskoj“, rekao je zamjenik gradonačelnika Filip Sušac o projektu "Sunce nad Vukovarom".
Govoreći o projektu "Čista energija za Vukovar" rekao je kako se radi o ključnom strateškom projektu kojim je Vukovar krenuo u proces istraživanja geotermalnih potencijala.
„Znali smo da na području našega grada postoji geotermalni potencijal, a to smo sada i dokazali. Na kraju projekta možemo reći da razvijamo projektno-tehničku dokumentaciju koja je nužna za daljnje korake i postupanje. U sljedećem razdoblju, nakon što prikupimo svu dokumentaciju, aplicirat ćemo za nove projekte i za izgradnju novih bušotina. Glavni cilj je spojiti gradsku toplanu na izvore geotermala kako bi dugoročno naši građani imali povoljnu toplinsku energiju“, dao je naglasiti Sušac.

Pročelnik Upravnog odjela za komunalno gospodarstvo i graditeljstvo Dražen Čulig, voditelj projekata, istaknuo je kako su oba projekta vrlo važna kako bi se povećalo iskorištavanje obnovljivih izvora energije na području Vukovara.
„Projektom „Sunce nad Vukovarom“ javne zgrade u gradskom vlasništvu ostvarit će velike uštede, a radi se o, prema procjenama, 90.000 eura mjesečno. Prvi je to korak pri budućem širenju obnovljivih izvora energije, a vrlo je važno istaknuti i da smo ostvarili sufinanciranje u iznosu od 85 %“, rekao je Čulig te dodatno pojasnio kako se drugim projektom, „Čista energija za Vukovar“, napravio prvi korak u korištenju geotermalnih izvora, a to je izrada projektne dokumentacije.
„To je vrlo izazovan pothvat. Grad Vukovar do sada se nije susretao s takvim projektima i radi se o novitetu, kako u Gradu, tako i u cijeloj Republici Hrvatskoj. Bušotine su planirane na dvije lokacije, a vodilo se računa o budućoj namjeni, a to je grijanje višestambenih objekta u gradu. Jedna bušotina koja je pokazala rezultate je u neposrednoj blizini toplane u Borovu naselju, na nekadašnjem aerodromu. Tamo je temperatura zadovoljavajuća i nadamo se iduće godine nastavku bušenja“, pojasnio je pročelnik Čulig.

Projekt „Čista energija za Vukovar“ ukupne je vrijednosti 259.470,62 eura, od čega su bespovratna sredstva 217.330,02 eura (83,76 %). Projektom je planirano promovirati i postići energiju s manjom emisijom ugljika i povećanom sigurnošću opskrbe, odnosno izradom projektno-tehničke dokumentacije kao preduvjetom koji omogućuje korištenje geotermalne energije na području grada Vukovara. Projekt traje od 13. travnja 2022. do 30. travnja 2024. godine.

Projekt „Sunce nad Vukovarom“ ukupne je vrijednosti 774.968,55 eura od čega bespovratna sredstva iznose 658.723,27 eura. (85%). Kroz projekt je provedeno 12 pilot projekata, odnosno izgrađeno je 12 sunčanih elektrana u svrhu samoopskrbe na javnim zgradama u vlasništvu Grada Vukovara. Opći cilj projekta je povećati korištenje obnovljivih izvora energije, točnije iz energije sunca te posljedično smanjenje godišnjih emisija CO2. Svrha ovoga projekta bila je i transformirati grad u ugljično neutralan te poboljšati energetsku učinkovitost javnih zgrada na području grada Vukovara. Projekt je trajanja od 6. svibnja 2022. godine do 26. travnja 2024. godine.

Tehnička podrška na projektu „Čista energija za Vukovar“ bile su Razvojna agencija Vukovar (VURA) i Vukovarska gospodarska zona, dok je na projektu „Sunce nad Vukovarom“ tehnička podrška bila Razvojna agencija Vukovar (VURA).

On Monday, April 22, 2024, the final conference of the EU projects "Clean energy for Vukovar" and "Sun over Vukovar" was held, where activities and results were presented. The holder of both projects is the City of Vukovar.

EFLA Consulting Engineers is the project partner for the "Clean Energy for Vukovar" project, while the project partner for the "Sun over Vukovar" project is the Energy Farm International Foundation.

The projects "Clean energy for Vukovar" and "Sun over Vukovar" were financed by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area (EEA) 2014-2021. with national co-financing from the Republic of Croatia within the "Energy and Climate Change" Program.

Deputy Mayor Filip Sušac pointed out that both projects are important for the city of Vukovar.

"Both projects are focused on renewable energy sources, which is extremely important. The "Sun over Vukovar" project secured 12 solar power plants on public buildings owned by the city, which will bring great savings. We are talking about savings of 30-50 percent of total electricity at the locations where solar power plants are installed, which is of great importance for our institutions. In addition, we contribute to the development of the use of renewable energy sources in the Republic of Croatia," said Deputy Mayor Filip Sušac about the "Sun over Vukovar" project.

Speaking about the "Clean energy for Vukovar" project, he said that it is a key strategic project that Vukovar has embarked on the process of exploring geothermal potential.

"We knew that there was geothermal potential in the area of ​​our city, and now we have proved it. At the end of the project, we can say that we are developing project-technical documentation that is necessary for further steps and action. In the next period, after we have collected all the documentation, we will apply for new projects and for the construction of new wells. The main goal is to connect the city's heating plant to geothermal sources so that in the long term our citizens will have favorable thermal energy," Sušac emphasized.

Head of the Administrative Department for Municipal Economy and Construction, Dražen Čulig, project manager, pointed out that both projects are very important in order to increase the use of renewable energy sources in the area of ​​Vukovar.

"With the "Sun over Vukovar" project, public buildings owned by the city will achieve large savings, which are, according to estimates, 90,000 euros per month. This is the first step in the future expansion of renewable energy sources, and it is very important to point out that we achieved co-financing in the amount of 85%", said Čulig and further explained that the second project, "Clean energy for Vukovar", was the first step in the use of geothermal sources, which is the creation of project documentation.

"It is a very challenging undertaking. The city of Vukovar has not encountered such projects until now, and this is a novelty, both in the city and in the entire Republic of Croatia. The wells were planned in two locations, and the future purpose was taken into account, namely the heating of multi-apartment buildings in the city. One well that has shown results is in the immediate vicinity of the heating plant in Borovo naselje, at the former airport. The temperature there is satisfactory and we hope to continue drilling next year", explained Čulig.

The project "Clean energy for Vukovar" has a total value of 259,470.62 euros, of which 217,330.02 euros (83.76%) are grants. The project is planned to promote and achieve energy with lower carbon emissions and increased security of supply, i.e. the creation of project-technical documentation as a prerequisite for the use of geothermal energy in the area of ​​the city of Vukovar. The project lasts from April 13, 2022 to April 30, 2024.

The project "Sun over Vukovar" has a total value of 774,968.55 euros, of which grant funds amount to 658,723.27 euros. (85%). Through the project, 12 pilot projects were implemented, that is, 12 solar power plants were built for the purpose of self-supply on public buildings owned by the City of Vukovar. The general goal of the project is to increase the use of renewable energy sources, more specifically from solar energy, and consequently reduce annual CO2 emissions. The purpose of this project was to transform the city into a carbon neutral one and to improve the energy efficiency of public buildings in the area of ​​the city of Vukovar. The project lasts from May 6, 2022 to April 26, 2024.

Technical support for the "Clean Energy for Vukovar" project was provided by the Vukovar Development Agency (VURA) and the Vukovar Economic Zone, while technical support for the "Sun over Vukovar" project was provided by the Vukovar Development Agency (VURA).
